ZTE Nubia Z7, Max, Mini Have Been Officially Announced
// Ubergizmo
According to earlier reports and sightings, ZTE appeared to be preparing for the launch of their new handset dubbed the Nubia Z7. Not only that, there were also sightings of the Nubia Z7 mini. Well it looks like we won't have to speculate anymore because ZTE has officially announced the Nubia Z7, the Nubia Z7 Max, and the Nubia Z7 mini.
Starting with the Nubia Z7, the handset appears to share similar hardware with the LG G3. This means we can look forward to a 5.5-inch QHD display, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of onboard storage, a 13MP rear-facing camera with OIS, 4G LTE connectivity, and dual SIM functionality.
As for the Max and mini version, the Max is essentially the Nubia Z7 without the QHD display. Instead it will offer up a Full HD display, but will also retain the same hardware specs as the Nubia Z7. The mini, too, will offer up similar hardware, but will sport a smaller 5-inch Full HD display and will come in a variety of flashy colors.
ZTE has yet to confirm the release date of the Nubia Z7, Nubia Z7 Max, or the Nubia Z7 mini, but they have been priced at around $557, $322, and $242 respectively, which we have to admit is a pretty attractive price tag given its hardware specs, although we have to wonder if ZTE plans on bringing it stateside or if it will remain as a China exclusive.
