We're at the CP+ show in Yokohama Japan where Fujifilm is showing off its latest camera, the weathersealed X-T1. Yesterday the show was cancelled due to heavy snow and today the line of people waiting to get in is formidable. Arguably the star of this year's CP+ show, the X-T1 has been almost impossible to get my hands on until now, during a quiet spell before the doors open to the public. The X-T1 is Fujifilm's flagship X-series camera, featuring full weather sealing, fast continuous shooting and full manual control using traditional shutter speed and exposure compensation dials.

A major selling point is the high-resolution 2.36 million-dot electronic viewfinder, which is one of the best we've seen from any manufacturer. At 0.77X magnification it offers a large, immersive view of the world, too.

The X-T1's rear LCD screen is partially articulated, as you can see here. Although not as useful as full articulation, the ability to tilt the screen is handy for waist-level shooting, and video.

Here are three upcoming lenses, under glass. The XF 50-160mm F2.8, 16-55mm F2.8 and 18-135mm F3.5-4.8. Like the X-T1, all of these lenses are weather-sealed.

The X-E2 sits below the X-T1 in Fujfiim's X-series lineup, offering rangefinder-like ergonomics and full manual control. According to Fujifilm, a forthcoming firmware update will add an interval timer function and upgrade the refresh rate of its 2.36 million-dot EVF, bringing it in line with the X-T1.

In the coming months, Fujfilm tells us that a firmware update will allow it's Wi-Fi equipped cameras (the X-A1 is shown here) to print 2" x 3" prints directly to the company's Instax Share SP-1 printer.

Fujfiilm recently announced a black version of its X100S fixed-lens camera, and here's the limited editon 'red' version, made in a limited run of 1000 for the Japanese domestic market only. The differences are a red soft-release shutter button and a thumbgrip, which fits into the X100S's hotshoe.
