Looking at lightning shots using a lightning trigger.
The fuji X cameras, Xt and XPro are both much slower than my Canon 1DsMkIII body.

Makes tripping the shutter automatically when the IR signature of a lightning flash is seen by the sensor too slow to catch the flash much of the time.

Fuji, make a much shorter release when the shutter button is pushed!

I really want to like the Fuji gear but in use find myself grabbing the Canon most of the time. Light weight is nice but missed focus and missed images because the bodies don't perform at a high level has me frustrated.

For night shots, no problem. Leave the shutter open 15-30 seconds at a time.
