Steve Jobs' First Public Demonstration of Macintosh Unearthed

Time may have cemented Steve Jobs' legendary unveiling of the Macintosh on January 24, 1984 as a legendary moment in computer history, but a recently unearthed video shows how the Apple co-founder did it all again less than a week later.
Time Techland reported Saturday that another classic Steve Jobs presentation has been dug up for posterity and posted as a 94-minute video that becomes 30 years old this week.
The event in question was a monthly meeting of the Boston Computer Society, where the late Apple co-founder followed up his mesmerizing introduction of the Macintosh for the company's annual shareholder meeting in Cupertino on January 24, 1984 a mere six days later.
While the original, now-legendary presentation was followed by "dreary matters such as an analysis of Apple's cash flow," the more streamlined Boston event was aimed at the very crowd Apple hoped to woo with the Macintosh, and includes a Q&A session afterward with Jobs and members of the original Macintosh engineering team.
As fate would have it, the public event in Boston has been lovingly restored in time for its 30th anniversary this week, and can be viewed in its entirety on the Time Techland website for the very first time.
