Several years after the iPhone's launch, iPhone and iPad cases still aren't quite "a dime a dozen," and Pad and Quill shows why that's not such a bad thing. In the past, they've made attractive cases for iDevices that resemble leather pocketbooks or even Moleskine notebooks, and they recently sent a series of videos demonstrating how they've expanded their product line to encompass new bags and satchels designed to complement their iPhone and iPad cases.
The new products aim to bring unity to a set of their gear, so that the cases you purchase compose but a part of an ensemble. As with the cases, the new three bags and sleeves seem to achieve same type of leather quality and craftmanship known from other businesses such as Saddleback Leather Company.
There's even a personal edge to the products, as co-founder Brian Holmes tells me. Each is made by craftsmen supported with generations of experience in Leon, Mexico, and the artisan responsible for the crafting of the each bag signed the leather tag found on the inside. This is quality stuff that stands apart from the usual run-of-the-mill cases, and it's likely that it'll be around for a long time.
