Apple patent would allow digital autographs on ebooks, movies and albums
Book signings don't have to go extinct in a digital era: Apple has applied for a patent that would allow users to get digital autographs on digital media like ebooks, movies and albums. As Apple Insider explains, the technology connects the author's device with the fan's device. Autographs can be authenticated and encrypted, and the technology also allows for virtual signings over the internet.
