It feels like forever since we've done one of these, doesn't it? It's actually only been seven months. But still! That's a really long gap between Apple events. So on Monday just before 10 a.m. PT, we'll be kicking off our live blogging coverage of the opening keynote for WWDC 2013.
WWDC, as you may know, is Apple's annual conference for iOS and Mac OS X developers. Five thousand of them, from all over the world, will be lined up starting in the wee hours of Monday in hopes of squeezing into San Francisco's Moscone West hall to hear Apple CEO Tim Cook and other executives demonstrate the future of iOS and OS X.
That means we'll be seeing the reportedly thorough visual upgrade of iOS 7 that Apple has been working on, what comes after Mountain Lion, upgraded Macs, possibly a brand-new streaming music service, and — hopefully — updates to existing services, like Apple Maps, iCloud, Siri and more.
Be sure to bookmark this page and set a calendar reminder for Monday morning. Om Malik and I will be gathering back here at this very spot to bring you all the details as they unfold in real time at 10 a.m.
In the meantime, here's our guide to what we're reasonably sure we'll get from Apple on Monday and the stuff we're crossing our fingers for.
