China Unicom takes 100,000 iPhone 5 pre-orders, jOBS film to debut in late January, iTunes comes to 56 new countries
Chinese mobile carrier China Unicom started taking pre-orders this week on the iPhone 5 for a December 14 launch. Reports indicate that the Chinese carrier racked up 100,000 pre-orders for the device the first day it was available.
The Ashton Kutcher jOBS movie was originally expected to debut in Q4 2012. The official launch date for the movie has been pushed to late January to coincide with the final day of the Sundance Film Festival.
Apple has announced that it will be rolling out the iTunes Store to 56 new countries. Among the new countries to get iTunes for the first time include Russia, South Africa, India, and Turkey.
