MacDirectory Interviews Al Gore

You may know Al Gore from his political career, but he has also been greatly involved with Apple, especially after joining the Apple Board of Directors. MacDirectory recently had the opportunity to speak with the former Vice-President of the United States about his views on Apple.

In the interview, Gore tells about his experience with Apple, computing in general, the type of Mac he uses, and even talks about Macs in the White House.

"I had the last Mac in the West Wing. I was the last holdout and a lot of specialized programs that are in use in the executive branch were developed on the PC platform and I finally and reluctantly switched over," said Gore in the interview.

Even if you're not a fan of Al Gore, this interview is still interesting to read if just for the Apple and general computing content that is contained throughout it.

You can read the full interview on the MacDirectory website.
