San Jose's California Theatre Gets Dolled Up for Apple Event
In what is certainly a ritual with each Apple event, the California Theatre in San Jose has been getting ready for its moment in the spotlight on Tuesday morning -- although it's not quite the flash and glitz of Moscone West.
Techie-Buzz has published a handful of photos which reveal the decoration for Apple's next media event, which will kick off in San Jose, California at 10am PST (1pm EST) on Tuesday, October 23.
Unlike recent events held at Moscone West in San Francisco or on Apple's own campus, tomorrow's shindig is being held at a location the company hasn't used in many years: The California Theatre.
The California Theatre is where Steve Jobs and Bono introduced the (RED) iPod eons ago, and on Tuesday it appears to be where CEO Tim Cook and company will presumably confirm the existence of the mythical "iPad mini" as well.

In addition to a junior iPad, the company appears poised to also bump iBooks to version 3.0 and could show off a new 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display or even new iMac and Mac mini models. We're also holding out hope that the promised iTunes 11 release will come on the same day, since the month of October is rapidly drawing to a close.
Whatever Apple has up its sleeve for this smaller event, stay tuned to MacLife.com on Tuesday to find out all about it!
