Apple Posts Videos Featuring iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c on YouTube

Following yesterday's announcements of the iPhone 5s and the iPhone 5c, Apple updated its YouTube page with product videos that show the products in action for the first time. (Well, at least without the stain of rumors surrounding them.) Be sure to check them out, as they're a nice visual complement to the articles we wrote during the announcement.

The first (above) may be the most interesting, as it details many of the improvements to the iPhone 5s camera, as narrated by Apple senior vice presidents Dan Riccio and Craig Federighi. As we noted in our summary article yesterday, the new camera comes with a selective slow-motion feature, a burst mode, and a "True Tone" flash that does a better job of capturing proper colors.

The video above features Jony Ive himself talking about the iPhone 5c, which he calls "the distillation of what people love about the iPhone 5." The video goes on to place a heavy emphasis on the device's colors and even the specific case Ive designed for them.

In the last video (above), we get to see Dan Riccio and Jony Ive talking about the iPhone 5s's fingerprint sensor, taking special care to drive home how they considered the user's safety in designing the device. You'll also get to hear about some of the technology involved.

More videos for the iPhone 5s and the iPhone 5c may be on the way, so be sure to check Apple's YouTube page for more in the coming days. The phones themselves will be available on September 20, but pre-orders for the iPhone 5c begin this Friday.
