Apple quietly discontinues the 17-inch MacBook Pro

Apple quietly dropped the 17-inch MacBook Pro today, in-favor of the revamped 13-inch and 15-inch models announced this morning. Those who loved the larger screen are now left with just the smaller sizes. Nevertheless, the Retina display on the new 15-inch MacBook Pro should help soothe any pain.

Is anyone buying?
