Aqua Tek S case, Barclay Pingit, Apple changes app privacy policy

If you're the sort of guy or gal that does a lot of outdoor sports where the iPhone could get wet, a new Kickstarter project has turned up that is just for you. The project is for case called the Aqua Tek S that has a solar panel and is waterproof to keep your iPhone powered up and safe.

UK bank Barclays has unveiled a new mobile payment system for the iPhone and other devices called Pingit. To start with UK users will need a Barclays account, but before long that will be usable for anyone on using other banks.

Apple has made changes to privacy that could force developers to update thousands of apps. The update comes after a lot of coverage concerning apps that are taking contact book contents without user permission.
