iLounge has heard from their ‘most reliable source’ that the next iPad will be slightly thicker, the next iPhone will have a 4-inch display, and the new MacBook Pro will get a thinner design.
The third-generation iPad will become modestly thicker (0.7mm) in order to accommodate the twin light bar system needed for its higher-resolution display. The device is reportedly on track for release in March but could be announced as early as January.
