Volkswagen have made quite a name for themselves in Mainland China. They have been building their brand presence in the country for years. One of their most recognised efforts in the Middle Kingdom is their national road safety initiative which is now in its fourth year.
The organisation's latest promotional activity in China is titled, "The People's Car Project", which encourages Chinese netizens to post their ideas about the car of the future. To promote the initiative VW has created a range of front covers for the trendy fashion magazine, "1626". The magazine primarily features the latest Chinese street fashion and is published bi-weeky in four of China's biggest cities: Guangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing and Chengdu.
Below are the front covers for each city. What do you think of them?
