No matter how much I stare at this thing I just can't get past the fact that it looks like a giant turtle. I know the car has a very loyal following and is one of Porsche's best selling models, but still… just look at it! Regardless of my distaste for it in the looks department the Porsche Panamera is actually a pretty outstanding car, both inside and out. It's fast, handles beautifully and will coddle its occupants with every automotive creature comfort known to man. I guess this is why Porsche is planning on building an extended wheelbase version of the thing that's due out in 2012. Right now the Panamera rides on a 115-inch wheelbase, not short by any means, but due to increased requests for more rear leg room Porsche is extending the car to 120-inches. This means more room, bigger doors and happier rear passengers. I wonder if Porsche ever envisioned the Panamera as a fast limousine for their uber wealthy clientele.
